Skyeskyns approached Digital Six initially seeking an update to their existing Magento site and access to better, more proactive support across their website and marketing channels. Their previous Magento site was both expensive to maintain and overly complex to manage, while delivering a poor user experience to customers. The key focus for the initial project was to ensure a smooth transition to a more scalable and cost-effective platform, all while preserving their SEO rankings and addressing the pain points of their existing site.

We proposed migrating Skyeskyns to Shopify, recognising that it would provide a more streamlined, scalable, and cost-effective solution, better-suited to their needs than Magento. A new, visually appealing design was crafted to match their existing branding and maximise on their assets, while improving mobile performance and site navigation to deliver a better user experience.

Shopify's Advanced plan would allow the brand to leverage essential features like multiple language support, enhanced customer data handling, and custom shipping rules. These features, combined with its vast app ecosystem and seamless content management system (CMS), made it the ideal solution for Skyeskyns' e-commerce needs.
